Any ideas anyone? I'm medium computer literate but might need guidance on anything too techy. If you cannot open the SIG file on your computer - there may be several reasons. I've looked through a lot of help threads and not found the answer, although I think I have found people with a similar problem that has not been fixed. I have tried to open it as an administrator to no avail. I have also been into windows defender and tried to set the app as an exception, which it said it already was. I allowed all the security things when I installed it. There is obviously something, probably in the windows 10 set-up somewhere, that is blocking the file firefox.exe but I have no idea how to solve it. This works too for Firefox, but then I can't set it as the default browser as it no longer lists it as an app. I have had this problem with Chrome previously and changed the name of the exe file by one letter and the shortcut and it then opened. I did a clean reinstall and when I try to open it, it looks like it is about to open and then does nothing. I was using Edge for a while as Firefox was running so slow, but now Firefox has upgraded I thought I'd try it again as Edge is rubbish. Any ideas anyone? I'm medium computer literate but might need guidance on anything too techy.
